The Bradbury lab is located at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (Fisheries and Oceans Canada) in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, although Ian’s primary appointment is at Fisheries and Oceans Canada in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Co-supervised students in the lab attend Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada or Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, often traveling between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland for field and lab work. Post-docs and Dr. Bradbury are primarily based in Dartmouth.  The lab focuses on the application of genetic and genomic approaches to inform the management and conservation of marine and anadromous species in the Northwest Atlantic, primarily including Atlantic salmon, Atlantic cod, sea scallop, and green crab.
