In a new paper out of the lab last month, a panel of 101 microsatellites was applied for mixture analysis and individual assignment of Atlantic salmon in Labrador, Canada. Showing unprecedented resolution at a fine spatial scale, Bradbury et al. demonstrated a cost-effective approach for stock resolution in Atlantic salmon and other exploited fishery species.
